The Full Race Prep by Race Tech Ski Service is what we do for all new FIS-level skis that do not need a base grind. We start by properly pulling the sidewall, smoothing, and shaping the ski. Shaping the ski includes filing the top sheet to make a smooth transition from the sidewall to the top sheet to prevent ski damage from gates or other ski contact, and also makes it easier to set and maintain side edge angles. Once the skis are properly prepped, we set the side edges to coach, athlete, or brand specifications and wax the ski using the Wax Future.

These skis will be returned to you with a protective coat of wax that will need to be scraped and brushed.

No base grinding is included in this process.
