Our Basic Prep is also called a Junior Race Prep, is the service we do to new junior race skis, or to recreational skis. Typically the base bevel and structure from the factory on these skis are sufficient for the intended use, so we properly pull the sidewall to enable better access to sharpen the side edges, then we set the side edges to coach, athlete, brand, or user specifications, and add a coat of wax with the Wax Future.

These skis will be returned to you with a protective coat of wax that will need to be scraped and brushed.
